Jan Valkonen Relaunches Kleoverse as a User-Controlled Professional Identity for the AI Era

Now in private beta, kleoverse lets people build one user-controlled professional profile that connects their experience and projects to the evidence behind them, and decide what people and AI systems can see.

kleoverse today introduced its evidence-based professional identity, now available in private beta. kleoverse brings a person’s experience, projects, capabilities and achievements together in one living profile, places professional claims beside the work and sources that support them, and lets the person decide what is public and what stays private. Invitations to the beta are sent in stages.

Professional information is usually scattered across resumes, professional networks, portfolios, freelancer platforms and recruitment systems, and each new platform asks people to describe themselves again. As employers and individuals start using AI assistants to find and describe professionals, that fragmentation matters more: an AI system working from incomplete or self-reported information either has a partial picture or fills the gaps with assumptions.

kleoverse is designed to give people one source of truth they control. In the private beta, users can:

  • Keep evidence beside the claim. Experience and projects link to the work and sources behind them, with gaps left visible.
  • Stay private by default. Profiles start private, and people choose section by section what becomes public.
  • Share for a purpose. Shared Rooms present a focused view of a profile to a particular recipient.
  • Be readable by people and AI. Public profiles are published as HTML with structured data and as Markdown, and visitors can ask questions answered only from approved public information.

Company-side discovery is an early, read-only pilot. An agent that helps people prepare tailored resumes and cover letters is planned and is not part of the current beta.

“In 2024, I watched my 20-year-old daughter apply for job after job and hear nothing back. She wasn’t unqualified. She was invisible, reduced to a document a filter skimmed in seconds.”Jan Valkonen, Founder & CEO, kleoverse

Jan Valkonen founded ForteAI in 2022 to challenge resume-first hiring and began building Adaptive Profiles, living profiles that present the parts of a person’s experience that matter in a given context. That work led to a broader problem: professional identity itself is fragmented. After a 2026 ownership change, he began rebuilding kleoverse, first launched in 2021 as a Web3 product for professional reputation, around that problem.

“The technology has changed. The reason I’m building this hasn’t.”Jan Valkonen

29,767 people have joined the kleoverse waitlist. Invitations to the private beta are sent in stages.
