### About the Opportunity

You will have the opportunity to lead a team responsible for designing the industry's leading Crypto trading system, including Spot, Margin, Perpetuals, Futures, Options, and various risk control models such as simple account, single-currency margin, multi-currency margin, and portfolio margin. This system supports daily trading volumes of over ten billion USD for both retail and institutional clients. This position can be based in Singapore or Hong Kong.
 
### What You’ll Be Doing

- Responsible for the design and iteration of OKX’s trading system, including the match engine, order management system (OMS), margin check, risk calculation, liquidation, and other related modules and logic for both spot and derivatives.
- Handle risk control models suited to different risk preferences, including isolated margin, single-currency,multi-currency, and portfolio margin to enhance clients' capital efficiency and platform risk management.
- Set various trading and risk control parameters, including tick size, MMR tiering, and margin discount ratios.
- Keep an eye on industry competitors' trading system iterations and the advantages of traditional financial trading systems to continuously enhance the stability, latency, and risk control of the underlying systems.
- Monitor industry trends and user needs, and innovate at the underlying trading asset level to meet the demands of retail and institutional traders, in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop the platform's risk control framework and system, monitoring potential risks through stress testing and automated monitoring.
- Lead the underlying trading system and risk control team to maintain their professional skills and knowledge at the forefront of the industry, ensuring OKX's leadership in trading systems.

### What We Look For In You

- Background in a Crypto exchange or traditional investment bank, with extensive experience in building trading systems for spot and derivatives.
- Degree in finance or computer science, with CFA/FRM credentials and a deep understanding of the derivatives market and trading rules.
- Extensive experience in building complex backend systems.
- Strong mathematical skills, clear logic, and an exceptional ability to learn independently.
- Extensive experience in building and managing teams, having managed global teams of more than 20 people.
- Experience working in overseas markets and multinational companies, with fluent English communication skills.

**About the Opportunity:**

You will head-up the trading business of OKX in Australia. You set-out the trading strategy in line with the business objectives and operate within the regulatory framework. You understand how to bring value to individual investors and institutions by using a combination of licensed financial products oriented around crypto-assets.
 
You will work closely with internal partners in product, operation, marketing, business development and legal/compliance teams, both locally and globally, to develop and grow business, deliver the best of OKX to our customers, and ensure smooth and efficient operation of the business. You’ll lead the trading business within our licensed entity and provide innovative products to our end users.

1. Be a strategic partner to OKX Australia senior management team; be responsible for the operations of the derivatives trading business within OKX Australia.
2. You have a deep understanding of the AFSL-regulatory framework as well as blockchain technology.
3. Experience with derivatives product-design, price-setting, risk-management and revenue-calculations.
4. You understand the needs of retail and high-net wealth investors as well as institutions and can tailor products and the best user-experience for all segments.
5. Play a key role in partnering with our local compliance and legal teams to support maintaining our license with ASIC and drive business operations.
6. Own the development of key business processes and systems. Ensure processes are effectively implemented.

**What We Look For In You:**

- Senior experience in trading businesses, derivatives business operations for financial services or FinTech company (ideally head of trading or similar senior positions).
- Good understanding of how the various functions of a regulated financial services business operate (e.g. Compliance, IT, Finance, Risk, Audit) and experience engaging with regulators.
- Great communication skills and the ability to work effectively in an international organization.
- Cross functional expertise and the ability to implement global standards while ensuring local compliance.
- Good understanding of the regulatory landscape for financial services, and related requirements.

Global Research at OKX is a team of 8 researchers across the world, we drive customer centricity and innovation for the company, by delivering customer voice and insights into all phases of product development to make products usable and useful. We work in agile and embedded model, working very closely with product and design teams to implement our insights.
 
### What You’ll Be Doing

- Identify research opportunities with product managers, product designers, content designers, and/or data analysts
- Build research panels and continuous user feedback loop.
